My Disneyland Escape.

The big rock in the right side of the picture is Bath Rock. This is a favorite rock for rock climbers. There were four climbers on the top when we first got there.

We didn’t go to Disneyland, instead we went to my kind of theme park. The them is rocks & more rock & serenity. There were about twelve people at City Of Rocks the day we visited compared to what about twelve thousand at Disneyville? I read that you could access as far as Bath Rock & couldn’t wait to go. I thought about taking a winter coat. When we got there I thought it was spring Even though there was snow in a lot of spots it was absolutely beautiful. I am already thinking about going back real soon.

The cool thing about the snow is it wasn’t everywhere it was spotty. Some deep some spots that were bare. Good thing there were some bare spots, so Lynette would venture down to get her picture taken.

I was browsing the web site the other day when I seen that City of Rocks was open during the winter. As soon as I found out it was open I told Lynette we need to go there. I had never been there when there was snow on the ground. We had a great time just taking pictures.

I always love to take picture s of cows. I climbed under the fence to go get some neat pictures. While I was crawling back out from under the fence I snapped this picture.

The Old Stone House

This is the old stone house on the way to City Of Rocks. I admit using Fast Stone Image Viewer to do some special effect on it. I have had so much fun with this building & Fast Stone Image Viewer. I have made a huge bunch of renditions of this place. I even got Lynette interested in modifing a few.
